Alison went out on the town with her work colleagues, the children with with Granz and DadDad and I got a few hours to play in photoshop toy box and came up with this. My original idea took a while to compose then it became over complicated so I started afresh and this happen in about 5 minutes! So saved it quick and loaded it here before changing my mind - which did happen soon enough and there is a mark 4 version in progress.

While up in London last weekend I took some picture just for the kids to show them where I have been, and realising that pictures of the houses of parliament were of no significance to them I took some of buses instead, I was hoping to catch a routemaster but they don't seam to exist anymore. The future of the bendy buses seams to be short lived too.

Body Paint at DeCode

While up in London I managed to finally get to see and to make a mark with Mehmet Akten's 'Body Paint' at DeCode, part of the V&A exhibition on until 11th April. Look at this http://vimeo.com/3576457 to see video of the installation when at Newcastle. I think a camera watches for movement of the person in front of it and then somehow predicts or imagines that projected movement on to a screen, which looked similar to throwing paint. The exhibition was great as people were interacting with the pieces and even laughing in a gallery! but the space was a bit too dark so I couldn't see much of all the gubbins that make it work, and there were no books on 'how to'.

The giraffes have had a good day in London at the Victoria and Albert museum's DeCode exhibition as well as the metalwork and other galleries. Then the Wellcome Trust gallery, then they walked from Euston square down Gower street to Covent Garden, Leicester square then on to London Eye.
