While loading rumble into a skip on Monday I squashed my finger - doh. After a rest for Christmas I just needed to do abit of something physical without too much mental taxation! So I thought hump some rumble, sounds easy, but no - there was other stuff (building materials etc) on top of the area I wanted to clear. Then the soil was wet so every trip in thought the house left more a more soil on the paper protection on the kitchen floor which then started moving around. As the skip has been left when I was not around it was placed just abit too far from where I wanted it, but was able to carry on by stretching through the window to dump buckets into skip. Then I squashed my finger between a lump of concrete and timber. Time to stop! Today I have been to casualty as it was still throbbing, and had 4 holes drilled in the nails to relieve the pressure
Happy new decade...
