photoblog image last picture from Nikon D70 camera

I was taking a load of pictures of Will, Jack and Sam building a new shed then the battery died mid-shutter, causing an 'Err' warning on my Nikon D70, so far we have managed to release the shutter but still have err warning, any ideas how to over come this problem? I have done a web search and feel lucky that I have been able to go around the clock 4 or 5 times (40000 or 50000) as some people have had this problem after just 5000 pictures.

Not sure I can offer much advice, but if you're feeling brave I have another D70 body that nearly works, and several spare batteries you can have. Do you know a dab hand electronic assembler who can help?
Christian Brown: yes please to your D70 as I have found with having a spare computer I'm alot bolder with fiddling 'under the hood' of the spare than the main computer! I have bid on a damaged d200 on ebay but I have also been outbid.....

Christian Brown: thanks for the link I'll have a go as there is nothing to loose....
