Last week we bought a book on Big Bubble making and this is our first attempt! I scaled the recipe up to 6 liters but something wasn't quite right as the bubbles were only lasting a split second before popping, this is one of the long ones before it popped! The recipe in the book used cornflour/cornstarch and cold water, now I'm not chemically minded but doesn't cornflour need to be heated in order to be useful or is that only the case in gravy?
